The Society? I think of a large clock and its various components: a dial, two hands, several (perhaps many) gears ….
\nYes, I think that the Society is like a clock, where one of the biggest and most essential gears is the apostolate. Without it, the Jesuits would not make sense and would not exist.<\/p>\n

In this regard, a few days ago, we launched the first of a short series of meetings with Fr. Ignazio Buffa<\/a>, that have as their central theme the apostolates with which we have been entrusted.
\nEach novice, at the beginning of the first year, receives the aim of his apostolate from the Novice Master. Even we novices, like all the Jesuits, in addition to personal formation, study, prayer and community life, we are engaged in various associations (Catholic, social and lay) where we carry out our apostolates.<\/p>\n

During the first meeting on this matter, we shared the various realities, the different contexts, the tools, the positive aspects and the weaknesses of our apostolates.
\nAfter sharing our ideas, Fr. Ignazio helped us review our experiences, starting from the purpose of our the apostolic life in the Novitiate.
\nAct, think and live in accordance to the underlying principles of the Society is the goal that we novices begin to understand at this stage of formation, not only in the physical location of the Novitiate, but also through the pastoral activities that we live.
\nIn addition to contributing, these small “missions” entrusted to us, serve to instigate a desire and a search of “how to live as a Jesuit.”<\/p>\n

Aware of being the small teeth of large gears of a single body (the Society), we continue to live our apostolates with enthusiasm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
